Changes to our automated notifications

I found some dialog from April regarding the need to revise the sender name from automated@smartsheet to customized field option, but I haven't been able to find the outcome. Is there a way to change this 'sender name' to someone in my organization? If yes, is it still restricted to the owner of the sheet?

Unfortunately, it's restricted to the owner.
