Timeline Display
We are using one gantt chart to show the transition from fabrication to production so that we can see how changes in one area will affect the other and we can plan for when to perform different actions. One problem however, is that the fabrication crew works 5 days a week, and the production crew works 4 days a week. So putting in weeks and days for their corresponding tasks don't give me an accurate read on when the project will be completed. Is there a way to split the chart, with the top half having one set of timeline settings and the bottom having a separate set?

Hi rbuckner,
We don't currently have the function to apply two different timeline settings on same sheet. Please submit a request here when you have a moment.
As an alternative solution, you could set up one sheet for your fabrication crew and then a separate sheet for your production crew. You won't be able to connect tasks between the two sheets, however you can pull both of these sheets into one Smartsheet report and view all of the tasks together using the "Gantt View" option. You can also update the cells directly from the report as well.

Thanks,
Don
