Problem with error in from entry
Hello everyone,
I have a an error with a specific scenario in my use case and I don't know how to manage it, here is the use case :
- A user fill information in a form, but makes a mistake on a field with a recipient email address.
- When the row is added, it triggers an update request and send it to the wrong person and it is already too late to fix the problem.
Do you know if there is a way to prevent this scenario from happening ? Maybe there are some solutions with Smartsheet core platform. I was thinking about :
- Add a delay in the update request sending if it is possible, to let some time to change the email address.
- Add a visual alert to confirm the recipient adress in the form entry ?
Thank you very much for your help !

The placeholder has to be triggered immediately, so the placeholder text is the same as when triggered. Still, yes, it could be optional as long as the user understands the difference and possible risk, maybe.
Yes, that's correct.
Let me know how it goes!

You can set the Workflow option, Run workflow: to be Hourly instead.
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic week!

Hello @Andrée Starå
Thank you for your answer,
I tried your option, but I get this message when I try to change the frequency. Do you know how I could find a workaround ?
Thank you, have a great day,

Happy to help!
I haven't tested this, but one possible workaround is to have another Workflow that triggers this one if you can't remove the placeholders. Try to add an Approval Workflow that triggers the same, but hourly and then adjust the current one to trigger from the Approval Status.
Make sense?

The fact is that I don't get clearly the concept of placeholders and the reason why I can't put this workflow on a hourly basis actually.
So I should add a new workflow that triggers my current workflow only hourly is that correct ?
Thank you !
