Inbound cell link loses timestamp info and only shows date

Hello! I am trying to capture times clocked in and out by a team. I created 2 input sheets, one that captures time in via a system timestamp of last modified, and another to capture the timestamp for when one clocks out. I am then pulling the in and out time stamps through cell linking, but all that's coming through is the date, and the time stamp is getting lost. Any ideas on how I can get the date and H:MM info?

I tried populating the timestamp using "=[Time In]1 (where Time in is the column heading for click in time) and end up with this error: #INVALID COLUMN VALUE.

I don't think it will work using cell-links if you don't convert the time column first in another column in the source sheet.

Another option could be to use cross-sheet formulas instead.
