Form sheet that gets cell linked to another summary sheet
I have a sheet that gets fed numbers from a form. The form will get filled out daily.
I thought I had it all figured out-- I had the form add the newest entry row at the top and I linked those cells to my summary sheet. But then I realized that there was no way to make the linked cell link to an absolute row value, it followed the individual cell so when new row was added, the link stayed connected to the original row.
As a potential work around I created a new "auto counting" column. I'd like to make a row that references the max value of the auto counting column (the newest entry of the form) and have each column in that row pull the value in each respective column of the max value row.
I think I could then use cell linking on this row to my summary sheet.
I don't know how to do this, if someone could please advise I'd really appreciate it.

Hi @Logan Beck
Could you provide some screenshot with dummy data of what you're trying to achieve here?
Cell linking works with absolute cells, so making auto counting rows are not gonna really in your case.
But INDEX/MATCH or COLLECT could help greatly here.

I was hoping to cell link cells that were referencing the largest auto count number.
I don't know how much the data is going to help but i've attached.

David, have you had a chance to look at this?
Thanks,
Logan
