I want to send a form as a regular update request but need to include the row level comments. However I can't see how to attach comments when using the form builder.
Hi @Phil Wightman
Unfortunately, it's not possible to include comments in a form because it's not connected to a specific row.
The best option would probably be the standard update request feature.
Make sense?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic week!

I noticed that the update function allows comments due to the row association. Does that mean I'd have to set one up for every row as they all require a monthly update? I need to include the comments as they are being uses as a record of previous months updates (history).

Happy to help!
No, fortunately, you can set up a recurring Update Request Workflow instead.
More info.
Would that work?

Today a team member accidentally changed several rows by either deleting the data or the row itself. Do I download a snapshot of each one to restore? Some of them didn't seem to be too helpful. What is the protocol for restoring this information? I've only done this before with the help of a representative and it was…
I have my Smartsheet set to generate a document when a form is filled out. The document is a fillable PDF and when the document generates not all of the answers populate on the generated PDF. I have tried making the PDF again from scratch, I have tried copying and pasting the fields so I know they're the exact same…
