Looking to use QR/Barcode setup to complete a field

hi there

I'm looking to do some inventory logging using QR codes/Bar codes.

id like my technician to open a form, and in the Equipment number field, just scan a QR code/Barcode to enter the data.

is this possible in smartsheet?

So everyone can see the answer, yes it's perfectly doable with a barcode scanner.

Smartsheet returns the text or numbers from the barcode perfectly fine.
