Is there a way to set up a time stamp while utilizing the workflow automation? Thank you!
I know I can create a column for a "Modified Date" or a "Modified By"; but will these columns work properly if I am using the workflow automation on my sheet?
Thank you!

Not sure I follow!
If you want to store a "timestamp", please have a look at my post below with a method I developed.
More info:
Would that work/help?
If not, can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@workbold.com)
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic week!

@Andrée Starå Hi Andree!
Thank you for your help.
I am actually in the process of developing a new sheet that I am hoping to depend a great deal on workflow automation .My hope is to have a time stamp added each time someone makes a change... I just cannot figure out the best way to do that when using the workflow automation.
How would a time stamp be added if someone approved/ denied a process through the automated email?
The biggest reason I need a time stamp is so that I may set up automated reminders. But those reminders need to be triggered to send after a certain action has been completed.
I hope this helps and thank you in advance!

Happy to help!
We would need to structure the workflows to account for the approval process options as well.
It would, in essence, work in the same way as my other example.
Make sense?

You can now set a timestamp date based on another cell change using an automation workflow!
