URL Text Wrapping

Hi there,

It seems that anything starting with https:// does not wrap in a cell and cells do not expand wide enough to make the whole link visible. Also, text wrapping only works if there is a space or other specific characters in a string. Are any of these bugs or is this how text wrapping is intended to work for Smartsheet? Let me know if you have any ideas for workarounds to make the full link visible!

This is currently expected behaviour for a URL in a cell. The URL is one long string without a break; text-wrapping needs a space or a break in order to move it down to another line.

As an alternative, you may want to hyperlink text in a cell instead of pasting the URL. This would enable users to hover over the hyperlink and the full URL will pop-up in a helper window. You can read more about hyperlinking in this Help Article, here.
