Reporting

Hi, I'm having a few sheets which I need to consolidate (each sheet is to updated regularly). There is a same unique ID which I'd like to use as a key identifier to load the needed data. So let's say I want to have this unique ID listed in the primary column and to load desired data from each sheet to the same row against that unique ID. Row report does not work as it only loads data row by row as well as sheet summary report does not give this option. Is there any way to do that? Thank you

Happy to help!
You'd need to use a VLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH cross-sheet structure together with the unique identifier to collect the information to different columns in the helper sheet.
Make sense?
Another option that might help when it's generally available is the new report features, grouping, and more. It will not give you the exact structure but still collected together.

At the moment you would need to use a so-called helper sheet to collect the data and then report from that sheet instead.
Make sense?
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic week!

Thanks for your quick answer! Can you, please, provide more info on that as I am not fully sure.
Do you mean to collect data from all the sheets into one (Row summary report?) and then to sum it up in the final one (Sheet summary report?)?
Example of what I need to get:
- unique ID cross all the sheets: 123456
- sheet1: price
- sheet 1: date
- sheet 2: owner
- sheet 3: count
- sheet 3: credit
Final report to have a single row showing data in columns: 123456 - price - date - owner - count - credit

Hi @Martin Suchy ,
Hope you are fine, adding to the excellent answer from Andrée Starå, what Andrée mean that you need to create new sheet and use VLOOKUP Functions to collect the data you need from your deferent recourse datasheet using the unique ID and in this summary sheet you can create the column you need to show ( Id - price - date - owner - count - credit ) as you mention and each cell of those column you can get it's Value by using the VLOOKUP with the data resource reference sheet
