dropbox files

Hello all

When someone upload a file thrue the dropbox. Sometimes I can view the file in the file explorer and other times it only gives me the option to download, how can I avoid this? 

I prefer the view in the file explorer option.

Between the files you can and can't view, are there any common denominators? E.G Can you preview JPEG & PNG files, but not MP4 or PDF files?

If you are able to provide a touch more information, I'll give this a test and get some confirmation on the behaviour.
