I have a sheet that populates daily with a qr code

I would like to sheet to notify me after a certain amount of submissions.

I understand you can do this with a Parent & Child set up but how can this automate to happen every day?

For example

-25 percent capacity at work

-25 people check in

-notification goes out whoever at 26 people (check in's)

-repeat the next day

Are you able to fill in a sheet with some sample data manually entered and then provide a screenshot? Based on your description I believe it may be possible to set something up, but I can't be sure without more detail.

thank you for responding.

The upload is via an ipad.

So the end game should tell me i have to many employees in the building.

Questionaires are filled out dailiy and if to many come in i want to make sure Im

not in violation of the capacity restriction

I would suggest setting up a separate sheet with each date going down a column.

You can then use a COUNTIFS with a cross sheet reference to determine how many have submitted a form for each day. You can set up an automation on this sheet to alert you when a certain number is reached.

You could also set it up so that it is only tracking for "TODAY" so there is only a single row of data on the sheet.

If you wanted to track historical data, you could set up a copy row automation to copy the row to another sheet at the end of each day. This would also allow you to not have to worry about updating the date column to ensure that you have the current date listed.

So I have several locations so i have several sheets that are populated in the field.

Id like to treat each location independent so whatever the solution it will be duplicated.

So

when you say set up another sheet and date going down.

Are you saying I would have to populate dates for the next year for example?

Then can you elaborate on how teaching for today would work?

I need to take this step by step I’m sorry, I’m kinda new to this.
