Ms Team's Integration notifications
Hi,
We are looking at turning on the integration of Microsoft Teams to our smartsheet. But before we do I do have a couple of questions: -
1) Can you get direct message to an individual via Teams instead of a Teams Channel?
2) Can you notify more than one Team’s Channel at a time of a change? For example on one sheet I may I have a number of different departments I need to notify of a change to there area.
Many Thanks
Paul

Hi @Paul Jenkins,
Smartsheet alerts, @mentions, update requests, approval requests and reminders can be received as direct messages via the integration with Microsoft Teams. More information on this can be found in the following Help articles from the Learning Center:
To trigger change-based automation and have notifications go out to more than one channel, you could either do this with multiple Automation workflows or you could use a single trigger with multiple actions in a workflow to send out to the desired channels.
To learn more about Action blocks in workflows, visit the Help article titled Action Blocks: Specify What Kind of Automation is Triggered.
I hope this helps!
Thanks,
Ben

This post is misleading as you cannot (it seems) send notifications to Teams via Direct Message to a person only POSTS to a channel. I wouldn't call a post a direct message as stated in the original post.
