Is the inability to make changes to a Smartsheet project plan from 10,000 ft a bug or a feature?
My company intends on using Smartsheet to feed 10,000 ft, in addition to feeding other functions. I am only interested in the resource management function in 10,000 ft and would like to make my resource allocation through 10,000 ft since it is a much more user friendly interface. Right now that is not possible because changes I make in 10,000 ft do not translate to the Smartsheet project plan. Is there a plan to offer that capability in the near future?

Currently the 10,000ft panel is a "1.5 way sync", so you can push updates from the Smartsheet Grid through the Panel to update 10,000ft... however you're right, if you make changes in 10,000ft, the panel only shows the updates so that you can view these. You would then need to manually adjust the grid of your sheet as needed.
The Help Center article on the 10,000ft Panel (see here) has this graphic which helps explain the current capability:

Hi Genevieve,
The question was whether this was by design, and if it wasn't then when will it become possible.
Thanks.
