Cell Linking Question
Hello,
I tried cell linking so data flows from one sheet to another. However, the first sheet where I want data to from is a form, so when a new entry is added, the cell linking does not work. Does anyone have any idea how I can get data from a sheet that is driven off of a form, to another sheet? I've attached screen prints that hopefully visualize my issue better.
Thank you! Sheryl

You can use cross-sheet formulas and VLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH to collect the information.
Make sense?
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!

I have a follow-up question as a tag on to this function. We have the INDEX/MATCH working. After it is indexed, data is added and we copy it to a new sheet. That is great...until we go back to the original sheet to archive original data? At that point the indexed sheet wrongly associates the data lines with the shifted data on the original sheet? How can I associate them together, so if I clear data on the original sheet, it archives the other sheet as well?

Thank you - I cannot seem to get this to work the way I want to, so I'm currently working with Smartsheet and looking into the DataMesh. Does anyone use DataMesh? And if so, thoughts?
