What's the best way to show Baseline Schedule when it's not available on the Gantt?

We are using the Baseline "workaround" by creating the Actual Start, Actual Finish and variance column formulas. What method has worked for you to compare the baseline to the actual since it's not supported in Gannt view?

I have not done this in a while, but I created a copy of the project sheet (the baseline) and then created a Report to look at the two of sheets (current and baseline) at the same time.

In the sheet(s), I have the RowID (as a column with a formula) so that the Report can be sorted on RowID.

You end up with something like this:

which is not ideal, but servicable.

It would be nice to be able to edit the schedule from the Gantt chart in the Report ... but we can't.
