Publish Calendar with Filter Applied
Hi
I am trying to share a publish link and to embed a published view of my Calendar with a filter applied. This is the view I'd like everyone to see as the default. The filter keeps getting turned off. Any way to make it stick?
Thanks for your help!

Unfortunately, as far as I know, it's not possible at the moment to make it stick, but it's an excellent idea!
Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment.
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic week!

Thank you for your feedback! I did submit a request. In the meantime, I did create report for each filtered view and then published and shared that.

@Larissa Galiano - This is the exact issue we're experiencing. Do you know if there are any conversations about product enhancement or workarounds? We can't use the original URL, which includes the filter ID. And the Wed Content Widget doesn't accept URLs in any other format when the published link, which DOES NOT include the filter ID.
For example, we have a vacation calendar for our team, but we only want to show “Approved” days off. How can we use a Smartsheet dashboard to publish that calendar with the filter? (Same problem with WorkApps)😕

Hey @Joseph Gentile! Thinking about your specific use case, I believe we can get this to work by creating a report for the filtered view, set the Default View as "Calendar" when Publishing the report, and copy/paste the embed code in the Dashboard Web Content Widget. Let's get together to try this out!

That's brilliant, @Larissa Galiano! Thank you so much!!! 🤩👏
It worked!!
Step 1: Create new Report from your Sheet
Step 2: Filter Report
Step 3: Activate the Published URL with "Calendar" as the Default View.
Step 4: Add the "Wed Content" widget in Dashboard using the Embed code from the Report.

I trying to accomplish the same thing here. Publish a calendar for my org to view with a default filter. I'm not understanding how to create a report from the sheet in step 1 above. Can someone help?
