is there a way to get "mouse-over" text for a widget on a dashboard?

I have a dashboard with multiple forms linked to it through widgets. To save space, I'd like to be able to have users be able to hover over the form widgets and get a description of what the form is and when to use it.

Is this possible?

Sadly Aaron,

No, I don't know of a way to add a Mouse Hover text. If you are using Shortcut Widgets then you can add the Text to Display within the widget, but that gives you a label which is always visible.

Good one to push through the request an enhancement form though :)

I can confirm it’s not currently possible to add mouse-over or alternate text to widgets on Dashboards. I found an existing product idea here: Mouse-over / Alt-text to Dashboard Widgets - please add your vote to this idea if it matches your request.
