Project Dates
I am having difficulty changing project beginning and end dates. Looks like I am not the only one. Is there a way to do this without adding a column and formulas?
For a program like this I would think there should be a easy fix.
Is there a way to disable the parent dependency?

Dependency columns are "all or nothing" in that you cannot specify certain rows to have them set and others not.

Paul,
Thank you for the response. Still getting up to speed on developing our schedule so I do not completely understand, but as I progress, your comment will be useful and clear to me.

Dependency columns are the columns referenced in the project settings when dependencies are turned on. None of the columns used in these settings will be able to have formulas in them, and you will not be able to select specific rows to have them and others that do not.
