Cell with Card View?

Hello all,
I'm not sure if I imagined this or really saw it, I am 99.9% sure I really saw it.
This morning I was updating a construction project/budget tracker sheet and I'm not sure how or what happened, but suddenly had a window pop open with multiple cells allowing entry of Source, Cost, Comments and some other details.
It seemed like I had double-clicked one of the cells where I have $ amount. I was multitasking and hit escape a couple times very quickly and the window disappeared. I've not been able to find any way to get a window to open up like that.
Anyone have an idea? This would be amazing to find this level of functionality within Smartsheet.

Hi @jb@59069
Yes, you are correct! You can double-click on a card in Card View (or on the row number in Grid View) to open up an "edit row" pop-up window (see: Edit a Cell).
This functionality is shown in the Card View video in the Help Center, see minute 1:35 here: Card View.
Is that the window you were talking about?
Cheers!
Genevieve

Hi @jb@59069
I think I know what you're describing, but let me know if I've misunderstood. Grid View can open up a way to edit the row in a form-type of view (see: Edit a Cell). This is the same edit pop-up window that appears when you double-click on a card in Card View.
To do this, double click on the row number, on the very far left:
Is this the card you saw?
