Aging Report for Statuses

Does anyone know how you can identify items that remain in a single status for too long? For example, if an item is "In Progress" for more than 3 months, it is a concern. I was hoping to utilize the new date tracking automation but haven't quite figured out how to do this specific task.

Sammy, there's a couple of ways of doing it. It will depend on your need.

One example would be: You can add a column for created or updated (and you should use system generated ones to be zero chances of being altered) and you can use conditional formatting with the formula: if created is in the 90 last days then apply this format (choose format) to the entire row.

Another example would be: you can have a column with manually status change date, another column with today's actual date and a third one with the formula of today's date minus last updated date. This result you will get in days. Again, you can have conditional Formatting highlighting the row o cell in the ranges you see fit (30, 60, 90 days).

There's also other options. Feel free to contact me if you want to set up a meeting so we can over this together and find a good solution for you.

    Hi @Sammy Eastwood

I hope you're well and safe!

Yes, you could use the new Recor a Date feature, but you'll need to add multiple so-called helper columns.

Another option that might help. Please have a look at my post below with a method I developed.

    Would that work/help?

    I hope that helps!

Be safe and have a fantastic week!
