Using attachments in proofing functionality

Dear all,

It seems like, for people reviewing (and approving or declining) proofs, there is no option to use attachments in the feedback. They can type text, but can't add attachments. If people have edit rights on the sheet and they go to the sheet directly and then to the proofing panel, they can, then the 'paperclip' option is there. But that won't work in many cases as we don't want to give all people editor rights to the whole sheet.

Is there any way, or maybe a creative workaround, to be able to use attachments in proofing feedback for people who just go to the proofing panel (typically via the workflow email they receive)?

You're correct, there currently isn't a function for Proof Reviewers to upload attachments along with their comments. Please let our Product Team know about your feedback (through this form, here) as I'm sure they'd be interested to hear about your use-case!

As an alternative, you could use an online storage for different files and have the reviewers provide hyperlinks to that location (such as Google Drive or OneDrive) within their comment.
