IF statement - How to return a result from two multiple sources
I was wondering if there is a way to do an IF statement to capture a result and add that result into another cell?
eg. from A1 (if C2 =“NSW” return “abc computers’ in B2)
note - I can’t put the formula in B2 as this a drop down list.
the only other alternative would be conditional formatting but smart sheets only gives font/colour options, unless I’m missing something.
Any suggestions?
Regards
Daniel

I hope you're well and safe!
Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment, but it's an excellent idea!
You can't have formulas and also have the option to change the cell manually.
Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment.
As a possible workaround, you could maybe use the Smartsheet API or a 3rd party solution.
Is that an option?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic week!
