VLOOKUP Function | Smartsheet Learning Center

Hello.
Is it possible to automate the SLA, Days column using the conditions on the 1st three columns? The 1st three columns are with dropdown list. So when they choose an Item Description and Responsible column the SLA, Days column will automate the day value.
Thank you!
You're more than welcome!
I'd recommend using the table with a VLOOKUP option because there are so many variations, and I'd keep it in the same sheet.

Yes. How many combinations can there be?
You could either use a multiple IF structure or a table combined with a VLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH (in the same or a separate sheet).
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic weekend!

Hi @Andrée Starå ,
Thank you for your reply. Will have more than 200 combinations with reference to Item Description column. Is is possible to have it on the same sheet or separate sheet?
Thanks again.
Happy to help!
Both options work, but the best options depend on a few things.

This will be used as referencing sheet. Updating regularly is not necessary. Yes this will be used for one sheet.
If it's possible to incorporate all these combinations using smartsheet formulas much better instead of referencing from other sheet.
Thank you.
