SMARTSHEET & OUTLOOK

We open a discussion in SMARTSHEET, I received a notification on my Outlook mail box.

I have two choice:

1) Answer in Smartsheet

2) Answer as usual in Outlook

I choose the number 2) directly by Outlook, but when we connect to SMARTSHEET, I don't see my answer in the discussion follow up.

Do yo uhave an idea, I guess we should be able to do this?

Have you checked to see if it attached to a specific row or set as a sheet comment?

First thank you for your answer.

Paul: Nothing attached in the row and nothing in the discussion flow. I try with my colleague it's work for him. Maybe something in my computer.

Yuan:

1) My concern is much about conversation flow from smarsheet and outlook. Exactly from outlook to smarsheet when I select answer to message on outlook menu (not answer in smartsheet) because my contact should not have smarsheet.

2) Automatic update requirement: I already use this kind of alert by created an alert direct from a line or a sheet setting. I meet an issue when I want it automatic when a row is add to the sheet.

I set up an automatisation = when row is add, if cell X is empty, send update requirement to requestor. but no mail appear in my mailbox when a row is added.

An idea?

For the Update Request, go into your personal settings and make sure they are set to include alerts from your own changes.
