Reviewing past personal messages?

When inviting sheet collaborators and giving them instructions via a personal message, if i do not Cc myself on the message, is there a way for me to see what was originally sent, or is the message gone?

Unfortunately, as far as I know, it's not possible now to see a history of it, but it's an excellent idea!
