Can a Smartsheet License be assigned to a generic email address or only to an individual's email?

We are planning a project that involves using Smartsheets to communicate with customers. However, we do not want the automated messages coming from a sheet owner that is a specific person. We would prefer it to come from a generic company email that the whole team can access. Is it possible to assign a license to a generic email so it can be the owner of a sheet?
