Will colored task bars with dependencies ever be supported?
I use the Gantt feature to track multiple releases. It would be great if I could color code various task items even if they are indented. Is this possible?
For example, tracking Release 1 and Release 2 in parallel I have a block of tasks for "QA". I want to color code one QA block of tasks as blue and another as green to differentiate the resources at a glance and see resource overlap.

You could create a hidden helper column that replicates the data from the parent row (Release #) on each of the child rows. Then you could set your conditional formatting to say that if Helper Column is "Release 1" and Task Column is "QA" then color the task bar blue.
Then duplicate the rule, change "Release 1" to "Release 2" and change the task bar color to green.
