Import text messages and emails automatically to Smartsheet

Hi!

I receive codes via text/email on a hourly basis that needs to be shared with people on a smartsheet. Is there a way I can automatically have these codes import to the sheet from the text or email with a add in?

I have looked into the Outlook for Smartsheet add-in but that will require manual work.

I want a automatic solution where once the text/email comes in it automatically add it to the sheet.

Any ideas?

You could use the 3rd-party service, Zapier.

Do you know if Smartsheet can receive texts from Zapier or only send texts to Zapier?

Glad to hear that you're well, and I am as well.

I'm almost sure that it's possible to send SMS to Zapier, but it could depend on the SMS service.

Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@workbold.com)

The ideal process for me will be:

• I get a code via text message/email
• This code gets added automatically into Smartsheet (row or comment)

So I will just use the app to import texts or emails to Smartsheet. I will not use Smartsheet to send any outward texts/emails.
