Auto Number populates when data @row was added. What about deleting when data @row was removed?

I understand that the auto-number field populates a sequential number, when data is being added to a row. How can I clear the sequential number, if the data is being remove from the row?

Hope you are fine, Unfortunately, this feature is not currently available. You can submit a Smartsheet Product Enhancement Requests using this form.

Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment.

As a possible workaround, you could maybe use a formula-based autonumbering solution.
