Display hyperlinks as hyperlinks in update request or alert

I have hyperlinks to other sheets within a tracking sheet for easy access by team members.

The hyperlinks are displayed by "Display Test", not the actual URL:

When I insert the column in an update request or alert, it only displays the Display Text. It is not a hyperlink. The URL is not accessible from the email or update form.

How can I get the hyperlink from the Sheet to behave like a hyperlink when embedded in an email or included in an update form?

As you've found, embedded hyperlinks behind text like this are unable to be displayed as hyperlinks in workflow emails. The workflow reads the text value but doesn't carry through the embedded link. You'll need to have the full URL displayed in the cell for the workflow email to be able to create a link out of this data.
