Default Sheet View Not Working
Hello. I have a Default View set via the "Share" button on my sheet. The Default view is supposed to use the Current User filter I have set on the sheet. The filter is in fact shared. When my team members go to the sheet the filter is off and thus the sheet Default View is not working. They have to manually select the Current User Filter.
This option seems simple to use but it simply doesn't work.
Isn't the intent of the Default View for all users that you share to the sheet?
Please advise.

That is the intent. One last thing to check. Is your created filter a SHARED filter? See the checkmark in the image below.

Yes it is setup as a shared filter with the checkbox. It also has the normal little images of 2 people next to the filter name indicating its a shared filter.

Can you double-check how they accessed it because it could be that they use a link without the added information for the default option?

Andree - that did it!
I didn't realize the URL link for filtered sheets has additional info at the end of the URL link which results in the default view working. I tested it with my team member and the new link worked. I will have my folks save that specific URL then. Interestingly the "Share" button sheet link doesn't have the added URL filter info when I go to share the link.
Appreciate your help which resolved my issue and learned something new!

Ok, I have the same issue. I add a SHARED filter but my link to the sheet doesn't change. So every time I share the link with someone new, even after I've set the default filter, nothing happens. How do you get the link to change? All I did was go into the sharing options, add a filter (just like in the screenshots above) but my link (highlighted in blue in the screenshot) stays the same and no filter is applied when I use the link... Any help appreciated!
