Columns on the form vs on the sheet

Hello,

I am new to SmartSheet and practicing to be proficient. I have a question. I have added a few columns in the existing form which has a few existing columns from the sheet. Then, I rearranged columns on the form. Does the system automatically rearrange those columns on the sheet as well which is same as on the form?

The column order is not affected by the form and the other way around. Rearranging columns on the sheet will not affect the order of the fields in the form.

Thank you, Paul. This is helpful. I tested this piece. I was wondering if SmartSheet automatically rearrange column order based on changes on form.
