Sight Cell Linking

I want everything that is under a Parent Row on a Sheet to show on our Dashboard.

Is it possible to cell link ALL children under a parent row to a Sight/Dashboard?

Examples:

If any rows are added they will be included

If only one row is populated, only one row will show in Sights

  • I use a system like this for what you are doing:

1 - add a flag column to your sheet. Flag any rows you want to either include (or not include) in your dashboard

2- make a report that includes any rows where the flag has been checked (or unchecked depending how you want to go about it)

3 - make a report widget in your sight and link it to the report you made

Now the sight will update on a continual basis whenever you flag/unflag a row because of the report criteria

    Thanks!

So everything is manual when it comes to "selecting" rows?

If a new row is added, I'll have to go in a manually check or uncheck the flag, correct?

You don't have to flag each row. i wasn't sure if you only wanted to see the child rows in your sight.  You could add a flag to just the header row to exclude that if needed and then unflag everything else.

Set your report criteria to only show things that are UNFLAGGED
