How to keep your gantt chart from getting too big
Hi all,
I am creating a gantt chart in smartsheet and I was wondering if there is a way from dates that are older than 60 days to disappear from the sheet to stop it getting too big? Maybe by some form of automation, filtering or something else?
I have tried doing it in filtering and the problem is that the parent row stays pinned on the earlier date even if the child row disappears. If you include parent rows in the filter then the parent row disappears as well.
I need a way to make the parent row adjust to the new earliest date but have child date rows that are too old disappear.

I hope you're well and safe!
You could set up a Workflow combined with the Move Row feature to move the rows automatically.
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic week!
