Formula Error
Hi
I have created an INDEX MATCH formula to update the location column in my Headcount sheet that references the Change sheet. It has worked in the first record of the Headcount but when I have dragged it down (to test it works for the next record, before making it a column formula), I get an error. The Employee ID exists on both the Headcount and Changes sheets so, I'm confused at why it works for the first record on the Headcount sheet but not any of the others. I have made the EEEID columns contact types on both the Changes and Headcount columns to retain the zero number prefix.
Anyone that can enlighten me?
TIA
Cheryl

Yes. If you could copy/paste the formula directly from your sheet to here, that would help with troubleshooting.

Without seeing the formula I would guess that the reference to the EEID column has a specific line number associated to it. (i.e EEID1)
I would make sure that it is EEID@row in the formula
