Is there an "OR" condition in conditional formatting?
I'm a very new user (1 week) and I am trying to apply conditional formatting if any one of 4 conditions is met. I need an OR statement but can't figure out how to do it, other than to do a separate rule for each condition. I searched the community and help and couldn't find anything about OR conditions.
Thanks!

Hello Megret,
Conditional Formatting doesn't currently have an OR option (only the AND option). To accomplish this, you'll need to create four separate rules—one for each of your conditions. You can duplicate a rule by right-clicking on it.

Hi,
Is there a OR function implementation on the horizon?
I have 6 columns of which all six can have a possibility of 6 statuses and need 6 colors per status. Writing 36 conditional rules will be very time consuming.
Where an OR function will be so much better to use.
Please let me know.

Yovanka - have you gotten a resolution to this? We're trying to use an OR function now with conditional formatting and having no luck.
