Checkbox Conditional Formula

I'm trying to have a checkbox column automatically checked when the percentage of another column on the same sheet is greater than 5%. I've searched these community posts but only seem to find a formula when text falls into one field a box is checked and not when a number or greater is reached.

This is the closest thing I've gotten without an error, but the greater than 5% condition doesn't seem to be working:

=IF([How Popular]@row = ">5.00%", 1, 0)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try something like this...

=IF([How Popular]@row > 0.05, 1)
