Formula for changing drop-down selection in one column when a date is entered in another column
I have a status column with drop-down options (Not Started, In Progress, Complete, N/A). I would like the drop down selection to change to Complete when I enter a date in the Complete Date column. Is this possible?

It is possible, but you would want to fully automate the rest of the selections as well. Once the cell is manually changed, the formula will be erased.

@Paul Newcome Thanks so much for the quick and helpful feedback. Given that, I don't think that will be a good option for us. Can you advise what the formula would be to do the reverse? When status column is changes to Complete - enter today's date in the Complete column? Thank you!

You would use the "Record a Date" automation to accomplish that.

Perfect - done! Thank you.
