I want to share a new sheet with only certain columns on it with a group but want the new sheet to automatically update when I make changes in my other sheet. Is this possible? Or can I share certain columns with a group?

I would recommend creating a report for the data that you would like to share. this way, you can keep your sheet as the master for data entry and that updated data will automatically flow to the report.

adding to what teresa says, if you also PUBLISH that Report and send a link to that Report to the group who need to see it (but not edit it) then you have real time updates of just what you want them to see and nothing else.
