Restrict Save as new option
Hi All,
I wonder if there's a way to restrict the user who has a viewer/editor permission from saving the sheet as new? There are confidential data on the hidden column and I wanted to make sure that the users can't have access to this.

Hope you are fine, the best solution for this issue is to use the Dynamic View App, also you can use WorkApps

@Bassam Khalil is correct! There isn't a way to restrict a shared user from saving a sheet as new or exporting the sheet to an excel file, which would show the hidden column. (See the "Important" note in this Help Article: Hide or Unhide Columns).
You could potentially create a Report and then provide them with a Published Link to the Report instead of the sheet. Or if you have access to Workapps, you can add the Report as a page in Workapps without sharing the underlying sheet/data.
