Limit View of Sheet

I have a sheet that has information that should be limited to certain people in the company and that is how it is functioning right now. However, from time to time, I would like to request an update of information in a row while restricting access to all other rows of data.

When I leave everyone off the permission list and send an update request, the person sending to never receives it.

When I grant Viewer access, the person can use the update request I send but then can see the entire sheet too.

Is it possible to allow someone within the company that is a licensed Smartsheet user, to update a single row of data within a sheet and only see that row?

You may need to have a System Admin adjust the permission setting on who can and can't receive notifications from a sheet. Then you should be able to send the update request to people that are not shared to it.

Hi @Paul Newcome, that is a great idea, but we have that setting already as you picture it and if I don't grant access to the sheet as a viewer, they don't get the notification. Do you think there is something at the sheet level?
