Do you know of a way in Smartsheet to have a child project carry the project number of the parent project - even when the numbers are automatically assigned? For example, if parent project #1234, I'd love to have child 1 = 1234.1, & child 2 = 1234.2. I know I can add a formula column and do it manually, but wondering if it can happen automatically. It's difficult to know which projects parent/child projects are part of the same project since the numbers vary a lot.

There are a handful of WBS solutions floating around here in the Community. If you do a search on "WBS", you should be able to find a thread with everything you need. If the first one doesn't work, there are more out there.
