Is there a way for this workflow to notify the person when they are assigned?

Hi @Merle Hughes. Yes, you can use automated workflows to notify (or alert) a person when they are assigned. This is the setup:

1) Click on the "Automation" menu; click on "Alert Someone..." from the Popular Workflows section

2) Name your workflow

3) Set your trigger by action or date

4) Define your alert; select "Send to contacts in a cell"; select the correlating column

5) Check/change your permissions (if applicable)

6) Customize your message (if desired); including column selections

7) Save your new workflow
