Same row versus different row in Reports

Hello,

Scenario:

I have two sheets, sheet A and sheet B.

On sheet A there is a column titled Survey Number, this is where the user enters the survey number. If I was to input data on Sheet B, can that information be linked to the primary column instead of creating a new row in the report? See how there's a new row (line #9) can that row be inserted above under survey number 987?

Hope you are fine, as i understood that you want each new children row to be added under its parent when the user submits, Unfortunately, this feature is not currently available. You can submit a Smartsheet Product Enhancement Requests using this form.

Yes, but you'd have to collect the information together in one row in the same sheet (or another sheet) for it to work by using cross-sheet formulas combined with VLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH.
