Invoice Signatures using DocuSign

Good Morning Smartsheet Community!

Our company currently has a dollar amount threshold for the review, approval, and signature of any estimate, quote or invoice. The approvers currently use DocuSign to approve, sign, and date documents sent to them via email.

Is there a way I can attach the document to a row that gives them the ability to click the attachment, sign, and have the signed copy attach itself back in to the row?

Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@workbold.com)

Of course!

Currently, we receive an invoice typically in a PDF format. That PDF is attached to an email and sent to the approver. The approver can then sign using DocuSign and send it back.

My goal is to utilize my sheet that has a workflow established that will notify the approver something new requires their attention. Then, without having to download the attachment, simply pop open the row attachment, sign it with DocuSign, then have the approved and signed invoice attached on the original row.

Hope that helps clarify what we're doing and what I'd like to accomplish.

What Smartsheet Plan do you have?

Have you looked at the Smarsheet DocuSign integration? It's fantastic!

Thinking about it a little more. That might not work because it's different invoices.
