I want to show only the latest weekly update in my dashboard.
I have a smartsheet used to send out weekly updates to key stakeholders.
I also have a dashboard for all interested to view the project status. I am wanting to update the dashboard with the latest update from the spreadsheet.
on the dash board I want the last entries for issues & incidents/ What was accomplished this week and what will be worked on next week to show like:
But I don't want to have to go in weekly and change the line on the report to show. Is there a way to always show the last populated line of the sheet?
Thank you

Is the most recent update always on the last populated row of the sheet?

Paul,
Yes it is always the last row of the sheet.

Ok. And how exactly are you currently pulling this data? Are you pulling it into another sheet or using Sheet Summary fields?

right now I am pulling the data into the dashboard
using the metric widget

Ok. I would suggest creating a new Sheet Summary field for each column of data that you want to capture.
Then you would use something along the lines of the below to capture the most recent data for whichever column(s) you want to pull from:
=INDEX([Column Name]:[Column Name], COUNTIFS([Weekly request]:[Weekly Request], @cell <> ""))
Then set your metrics widget to point at the sheet summary field(s).

Great I will try that! Thank you Paul😀
