Google reCAPTCHA is disabled in Settings. However, CAPTCHA is still requested while submitting form.

The Google reCAPTCHA image is disabled in the settings for our Smartsheet form. However, while trying to submit the form - have multiple image captcha being asked for.

Our team has cases in which, the image is being asked for 3-4 for times most of the times, and has gone upto 6-7 times in some instances.

Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? Is this a know issue, and is there any way we can prevent this?

    I'm having this same issue. Captcha is disabled on our smartsheet form but one of our users is still being presented with a captcha each time he attempts to submit the form even though on my own computer in multiple browsers I'm not presented with a captcha. Alen did you contact support? What did they tell you?

  • Yes, we just had a report of this yesterday: someone getting Captcha over and over again on a form, and I was able to check and confirm that Captcha is not enabled on this form. Over the years, I hear about this a few times per year from our end users. Curious if Smartsheet could speak to the bug or underlying issue here. Thanks for posting, everyone.
