Using a published sheet on iPad

Hi,

I have a sheet with around 1000 rows, published as Edit by anyone with the link. However, when opening the link on an iPad (Safari), only the rows that fit the screen are displayed and I couldn't manage to scroll further down.

When using Chrome, it allows me to scroll down, but it won't allow me to edit the rows.

Any advice on this issue?

Regards,

  • Hi @Bruno Quadros

Mobile applications work differently than a web browser on a desktop; you should be able to edit the sheet from the Chrome app, however you will need to navigate to the mobile view of the rows instead of the same view you see on a desktop. On my iphone, this is the button on the left, up at the top of the sheet.

Then in this view, click on the row and then select Edit in the top right:

This should allow you to make changes to the rows in a Chrome app on an iPad. In regards to Safari, I would double check that you have the most up-to-date version of the app and potentially download any updates.

If you're still having issues, you may want to reach out to Smartsheet Support with screen captures or even a screen recording of what you're experiencing.

    Cheers,

    Genevieve
