why can one of my Editors not share filters?

Hi all,

As an Owner of sheets I am sharing sheets with several employees in the organization and they get 'Editor - can share' status. Almost all of them are able to create filters in the sheets and share them so that I can see and use them as well. However, there is one user (also with 'Editing - can share') rights who created filters, but I can't see them. I asked him to share the filters by ticking the box 'share filter' but that box is not available to him. Does anyone know why I can see filters that other editors create in their sheets, but I can't see the filters that this particular user created?

For the user to share a saved filter, they have to either be the sheet Owner or shared as an Admin.

Hi Andre,

Thanks for your response! Now I understand what happened. Other people with Admin rights in the organization probably made the filters for them! I will check and find out. Thanks for bringing me this 'light bulb' moment :-).
